Order Kick-off
Custom orders don’t fail at the end. They fail at the start. Specs, MOQ, lead time, packaging, payment terms: confirmed in person and signed before production starts.
- Private-label
- Multi-variant orders
- IP-sensitive products and configurations
Examples: kitchenware and cookware · made-to-spec furniture · consumer electronics. Not limited to these; if you’re unsure whether your product fits, get in touch.

You know what you agreed to. The question is whether your factory does.
The offer came in on time. The price was right. The sample looked good, so you gave the go-ahead. Over WeChat. Over email. Somewhere across a dozen messages and a phone call. Your supplier walked away with a clear picture of the deal. The only question that matters: is it the same picture you have?
Why it goes wrong in China. Verbal agreements don’t hold here the way they do in Europe. Lead times stretch once the order is in. MOQs move just before the line starts. Specs get read differently on the factory floor than they were in your inbox. Packaging shows up wrong because “the box from last time” was used. You usually find out after production has begun, when your leverage is already gone.

Fewer risks. Greater certainty. Better decisions.
Where it bites hardest
The more you build into a product, the more there is to lose. Private-label goods carrying your branding. Custom packaging, formulas or recipes. Made-to-spec furniture. Orders with multiple colours, materials or SKUs. Products where firmware, configuration or IP is part of the deal. The richer the spec, the more a loose agreement costs you.
Order Kick-off locks the order down, in person, before production
1. Capture the order
We sit down with you and map the order in full: specs and tolerances, MOQ, lead time, packaging, labelling, payment structure and any product-specific requirements.
2. Confirm on site
We go to the factory in person, not a video call, and walk every relevant point through with them directly, confirming what can be confirmed and flagging what can’t.
3. Sign before production
Everything agreed goes into a bilingual CN/EN purchase contract, signed by both parties before a single unit is made.
Sample rejected with adjustments? We verify in person that the factory has understood and applied every change before the bulk runs. Open commitments, closed on the floor.
The purchase contract: bilingual, clear, and taken seriously in China
Not a template your supplier quietly ignores. A bilingual CN/EN document covering:
- Product specifications and tolerances
- MOQ and quantity confirmation
- Unit price and total order value
- What happens when something deviates
- Payment terms and schedule
- Lead time and delivery date
- Packaging and labelling requirements
- Both parties’ obligations, in writing
Written so Chinese factories understand it and take it seriously. Signed by both parties before production starts.
Sourcing as an add-on
Sourcing as an additional step
Don’t have a suitable supplier for your product or product line yet? Before the Order Kick-off or production management begins, we can carry out supplier selection, shortlisting and price comparisons. This makes sourcing a logical first step towards a controlled production process.
For larger orders and structural purchasing
